Kiego Mukawa

Keigo Mukawa

Piano

Keigo Mukawa gained international acclaim after winning 3rd Prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2021 and 2nd Prize at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition in 2019. He performs widely across Japan and Europe as both soloist and chamber musician, admired for his refined expression and stylistic sensitivity.

His repertoire spans from baroque to contemporary music, and his performances are noted for their tonal richness and historical insight. Alongside the modern piano, he also researches fortepiano performance practice.

In 2017, Mukawa performed Maurice Ravel’s complete solo piano works in six recitals at CHANEL Pygmalion Days, later releasing the full collection to great acclaim. His recital series at Hamarikyu Asahi Hall have been consistently sold out.

A graduate of the Tokyo University of the Arts and the Paris Conservatoire, Mukawa now continues his fortepiano studies while performing on major stages throughout Europe and Asia.
