The french Quatuor Arod is regarded as one of the most esteemed string quartets of our time. Founded in 2013, the ensemble has captivated audiences in Europe’s greatest halls, from the Berlin Philharmonie and Vienna Musikverein to Carnegie Hall in New York and Oji Hall in Tokyo.

The quartet is renowned for its passionate and profound interpretations, as well as its bold fusion of classical masterpieces with contemporary music. They have collaborated closely with famous artists such as Klaus Mäkelä, Daniel Hope, Gary Hoffmann, and Alexandre Tharaud, and have premiered several works, including compositions by Benjamin Attahir.

Arod records exclusively for Warner Classics & Erato, and their albums – ranging from Mendelssohn to Schubert – have been praised and awarded worldwide. In their most recent projects, they have explored French repertoire, Bach’s chorales, and Haydn’s complete Opus 76 quartets.

Led by competition victories and numerous awards, the quartet is now a sought-after guest at festivals and residencies. In every performance, they continue their passionate journey toward the essence of chamber music: the perfect dialogue between four instruments.
