Hiski Wallenius

Organ

Hiski Wallenius graduated with a Master of Music degree from the Sibelius Academy in 2021, majoring in church music and organ performance, while also completing the A-level examination in choral conducting. He serves as the artistic director of the Academic Male Choir Psaldo and the Graduale Choir.

Wallenius holds the position of principal organist (A Cantor) at the Lauttasaari Parish. As an organist, he has performed in various concert series and festivals both as a soloist and accompanist. He is one of the founders of the Lauttasaari Music Festival and a member of its artistic committé. In addition, he is a founding member of Bach Collegium Helsinki, a collective specializing in the performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s cantatas.
